Architecture

Architecture

Inspired by the natural surroundings and the beauty of the Dolls Point shoreline, award winning architect Victor Lake of VRB Lake & Associates has used natural materials such as sandstone, timber and travertine throughout giving the building a warm domestic feel. A boutique building of just four residential floors, it brings a new level to the concept of seamless indoor/outdoor living. Shore is destined to become a new benchmark for luxury apartment living in the area. Environmentally Sustainable Design Principles have been implemented throughout with water harvesting, sun shading, energy efficient appliances, gas water heating and thermal insulation. Most apartments have at least two aspects for natural light and cross-flow ventilation.
Interiors

Interiors

The hallmark of Shore apartments is spacious living. Every single apartment features an enormous living dining area and a king-size master bedroom with a resort style en-suite bathroom. Most apartments have at least two aspects for an abundance of natural light. Floor to ceiling sliding and stacking doors extend the living spaces out into opulent balconies or courtyards.
Exteriors

Exteriors

The moment you see Shore, you will realise its innovative interaction with the natural environment establishes it as a landmark building for the area, unique in its extensive use of sandstone and timber. Complementing the architecture is the harmonious landscaping by William Danger & Associates, incorporating a large timber board-walk from the glass covered sandstone entry shelter to the glass canopy over the main entrance.
